IMPORTANT: YatraYaar does NOT process payments. It only tracks expenses. All settlements happen outside the app (UPI, cash, etc.).

- Uploaded documents: Hotel bookings, tickets, and receipts you upload for group access.

- Group Travel Features: To enable expense tracking, itinerary planning, and communication within your groups.
- Data Synchronization: To ensure that trip data and expenses are synced across all members of a group in real-time.
- Document Management: To store and provide access to travel documents for group members.
- Customer Support: To respond to your inquiries and provide technical assistance.
Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard technologies:
- Cloudinary: We use Cloudinary for secure storage of your uploaded documents and images.
- Backend Servers: Trip details, expense records, and chat messages are stored on our secure backend servers.
Data Deletion Section
Users have full control over their data. You can delete your account and associated personal data at any time by:
- Going to App Settings → Delete Account within the mobile application.
- Sending an email request to support.yatrayaar@gmail.com.
Upon receiving a deletion request, all personal data is permanently removed from our active databases within a reasonable time, except where retention is required by law.
Security
We implement modern security measures including JWT authentication with refresh tokens and replay-attack protection to keep your account safe.
